Follow These
Wear your aligners for 20–22 hours a day to ensure effective and continuous tooth movement.
Remove aligners when eating or drinking anything other than water.
Brush and floss after every meal before putting your aligners back in to prevent food and sugar getting trapped.
Clean your aligners daily using cleaning tablets and a soft toothbrush.
Always store aligners in their case when not in use to avoid losing or damaging them. Never wrap them in tissue.
Avoid These
Do not eat or drink while wearing aligners (except water).
Do not chew gum while wearing aligners.
Do not use hot water to clean your aligners as it can warp the plastic.
Do not use toothpaste on aligners as it can scratch the surface.
Avoid smoking while wearing aligners as it can stain and damage them.
Do not skip cleaning — unclean aligners can cause bacteria buildup and bad breath.
